Over 9 weeks, PLA provided nutritious meals to children in need, serving 28,000+ meals, distributing 67,000+ food items, and supporting 320 children weekly. Thanks to 458 dedicated volunteers who gave 916 hours, we packed 1,600+ bags, 15,000+ snacks, 1,078 produce bags, and 1,134 cereal boxes. Together, we made a difference!
Our Christmas Angels initiative spreads joy during the holiday season by providing gifts to those in need. This year, we brought smiles to 370 children and 70 senior citizens.
We are proud to support the educational aspirations of local high school seniors. This year, we awarded 13 scholarships totaling $25,100.
